I stayed for a night while heading towards Edinburgh and was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The room was spotless and the bed was super cozy, making it a restful stop. I really enjoyed the on-site Turkish restaurant. the food was fantastic and a great option after a long day of travel. The location also had free parking, which was a bonus for me as I explored the area, and it was a short hop to both the Douglas Estate and the beautiful Bothwell Castle.

The on-site Turkish restaurant was a delight.
Contacting reception was a challenge during evenings, especially if you arrived late. The water in my shower was only lukewarm, quite uncomfortable. The mattress in my room felt outdated and could use an upgrade for better comfort.

The room was super clean, cozy, and ready for us upon arrival. I loved the tea and coffee making facilities. They made my mornings much more pleasant. The Turkish restaurant on-site was a highlight, serving fantastic food that we talked about for our entire stay. The location was excellent, just a short walk to Uddingston center where I found lovely walks by the Clyde and plenty of food options. I faced some issues with the mattresses. They were uncomfortable and needed an upgrade. There were no bedside tables in my room, inconvenient to keep my things within reach.

Confusion at check-in resulted in being assigned to a different room, but the atmosphere was pleasant with cute staff. The Turkish restaurant on-site was excellent, with a diverse menu that was so nice, especially in accommodating vegetarian preferences. The absence of bedside tables was inconvenient, and the mattress on the bed was notably uncomfortable, resembling a trampoline. Despite these drawbacks, I would consider returning for the lovely dining experience.
